It was one year ago yesterday (April 19) that I was blessed by God when He removed the compulsion and desire to smoke cigarettes. I have not had one since then. My cravings, which are far and few between, are changed when I decide to do something else, and only take a moment or so to p%%%%.
The first few months were somewhat tough, and I do not mean struggling with cravings, anger or anything like that. I did not go to jail, nor did anyone feel the need to chop my head off during this time.
I did not think of smoking, but I consider that I was suffering from some withdrawal type things, slight and small depressions, a new found love for donuts, sore throats, and my thinking was somewhat cloudy for awhile too.
What i did not go through, was chronic bronchittis, pneumonia, strep throat, or even the flu. This was the first winter in many many years that I did not have any of those "reoccurring" diseases. What a blessing.
I have also not spent $2737 this past year. I would say I saved it, but I did not, nor did I view it that way. After the first week, i stated that I had not spent 52 dollars; kind of quircky, but if you know me, its just me.
Whatever the case, i consider myself a non smoker now, and i love it. I could not believe I smelled like that, and cannot imagine what it was like to kiss me.....
Good Luck and God Be In You....
